First Timers Welcome to the 360 BJJ Family!
New to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu? Here’s what you need to know to fit right in and get ready to take your first jiu jitsu class.
WHAT TO BRING
Just bring the essentials start simple, and if you find out you love BJJ,
you’ll build a bag over time.

Bring a mouth guard
This is the only piece of gear you need for now. You can find one for $10 at just about any sporting goods store.

Wear workout clothes
For your trial class, all you need is lose clothing, something you can move in. Yoga pants and a t-shirt will do the trick.

Pack a water bottle
And anything else you need to be comfortable—like a sweat towel and deodorant.
What’s Class Like?
Classes last 60 minutes for adults & 45 minutes for kids to push the mind and body.
During class, everything else goes out the window. You forget about work and school. You stop looking at the clock. It’s just you, your coach, and your training partners.
Warm up
Drill new techniques
Practice with a training partner
Free sparring
What other first timers say
“I come from a background of martial arts and the coaches have earned my respect from day one. I think that the thing that catches my attention the most is how friendly, patient and professional the instructors are. They are awesome; Therefore, and since I have been practicing there for several months, I can easily recommend this gym to anyone who wants to learn jiu-jitsu and is up to do it with respect in the mat and in a friendly environment.”
Eder G.
“I’ve been going for almost two months and the entire experience has truly been awesome! The coaches really go out of their way to make sure that you’re able to get as much as possible out of each session. All of the training partners are great to work with and help each other out as well. I’m in a lot better shape than I was two months ago and I’ve been able to learn a new skill at the same time!”
